Mend St. Carnivale, the closing event for the South Perth Fiesta. A free cup and saucer ride. I felt queezy afterwards but Elliot couldn’t stop grinning.

This internet thing is great. You can find all manner of weird and wonderful stuff out there. One little corner of the internet being well exercised at our place is kid’s videos on YouTube. Want a medley of 15 Bananas in Pyjamas episodes or 20 Wiggles songs in a row ? Just search and voila, hours of baby sitting, streamed right to your PC.

So the concept of having a baby sister got a whole lot more real today. Finally Elliot got to meet this mythical being. He was just gorgeous with her, cuddling and gently kissing her. I’m sure he will tire of the amount of attention she gets from Mum, but for now he is having a ball being a part of a bigger family now.

For Christmas this year, as a present for each of the nieces and nephews I made a 8×10 framed collage. The collage featured predominantly them but with a shot of each of their cousins.  They were made from photos that I have taken of them. It took ages to select and sort all the photos but I think the result was worth it – something personal from me and individually crafted for each of them.

My only problem now is to think of something bigger and better for next year.
