In just a few snips, those all powerful curls are all gone. Elliot will have to reach into his bag of backup charms now.

For those that haven’t worked it out yet, his t-shirt says Belarus and is in their national colours.

Side story ; the first time I ever heard of Belarus was the watching the olympics many years ago – the weightlifters were from Belarus and I had never heard of such a country.

Today was morning tea at the excellent playground near Burswood Casino. Hope you like this little slideshow of Elliot and his friends.

Elliot sure loves water any way that he can get his hands on it. He doesn’t even seem to mind washing in the stuff. Just you try running the bath at our place and not inviting him – he’ll have his leg over the edge before you know it.

Just say `do you want a bath’ and he is off in a flash !

Through some persistent and excited encouragement we have even managed to get Elliot to endure having his hair washed. Lets hope this love of bathing continues right up through his teenage years.

Elliot is also slowly learning a few words. The most important stuff gets learnt first like "bubbeees". Said over and over – this means that he really really really wants the bottle of bubbles.

Actually Elliot’s first real word was kaka – which is Russian for poo. I’m so proud that my son’s first word was poo.
