Well OK it isn’t officially summer, but a couple of days in the high 20’s and that is enough for me
As you can see, Elliot likes all things water. Elliot can finally break out his sandpit. Our back yard is actually one big sandpit – but we don’t let him play in the `black sand and weeds’ bit, only the `clean white builders sand in the clamshell’ bit. The days are getting longer as well which means we can go for a quick walk after dinner before putting Elliot down. Aaaaah I love summer. Aaaah I love Perth.

Shovelling Loquats

Perth has had a good wet winter. Thus our loquat tree is doing really well. I was outside puddling around recently and Elliot discovered the loquats. Apparently he really loves them and can’t shovel them fast enough. It is one of those hard problems that mankind has never really solved; two hands and only one mouth.
Kings Park is just fabulous

Today was a public holiday Monday, so Kings Park was chockers. We went there for lunch with all the Pascoes (for which I forgot all my flash cards) and came back home at 12:30 so Elliot could have a sleep. Went back again at 4:30 to check out the wildflowers with the sun going down and the crowds leaving. Kings Park is just a gorgeous spot, surely the jewel in the crown of Perth. We are so blessed to live in a beautiful city.
