Something is wrong here …

Mmmm there seems to be somehting wrong. I think the one learning to walk should be behind the walker. Elliot must be used to being in a stroller because he is happy for us to push him round the house. We get bored long before he does.
We are seeing Elliot stand on his feet and balance for a few seconds and he can be coaxed to push the walker for a few metres. I’m about to go away, I wonder if he’ll be close to walking by the time Papa returns.
Thanks to Elliot’s friend Ben for lending him this great little walker.
Now we are one !

Saturday was a great day. All the Pascoes got together to celebrate the 1.0 release of Elliot Wesley Pascoe. It was looking damp and threatening, but some blue sky came out and we could relax in the park down the road. Starting with a couple of pressies in the post, and more down the park, it was unwrapping fun all day long. We even had a bottle of champagne to celebrate his mum and dad surviving the first year.
Elliot Gets Dedicated

Elliot had another milestone last week. He was dedicated along with 4 other babies. Mounties is now too big to do individual dedications, sadly. A dedication is sort of a protestant equivalent to a christening. The ceremony is really for the parents and the church - firstly we say thanks to God for the gift our our little Elliot. Secondly the whole church commits to support and encourage our children to come to a faith of their own, at a time of their chosing.
This photo was the one that we chose to be shown when Elliot’s turn came round.
A few people took photographs of the dedication. Thanks to David H., Sam and Dad for the photos in Elliot’s Dedication Gallery. It was a particularly challenging environment to take photos, the light was shocking – so thanks very much guys for your great shots.
