It was Julia’s birthday this week. I had already given her Elliot as a present, so there wasn’t really a need for a gift from me.

Seriously though, Elliot’s task was to deliver the little box wrapped in ribbon. Inside was a little something to say well done in the last year. I’m so proud of you Yulka. The pregnancy, the birth, the looking after a demanding little screamer ; you’ve been a legend.

Elliot is now past 8 weeks so it was time to go to the immunisation clinic for DTPa-IPV-HepB-Hib and 7vPCV. Thats for Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Polio, Hepatitis B, Haemophilus influenza type b and Pneumococcal Infection.

No wonder he cried, just reading the list brings tears to my eye !

Great service though ; no charge and it was straight in and out. Elliot was a bit grumpy and slept for a full 6 hours that night. Maybe we’ll need more injections in the coming weeks to get more sleep

Two friends gave Elliot the matching hat and t-shirt. He looks pretty cute hey !
