Elliot went to Bunnings for a free kids workshop this week – the last week of school holidays.
Not a bad looking toolbox hey! Well done Elliot.

Elliot’s Christmas present from Grandma & Grandpa was the LEGO Creator Log Cabin 5766. Thanks G’Ma & G’Pa it was a lot of fun sitting down together to carefully look at the instructions and build it piece by piece.
This set has 2 more builds, so we are only 1/3rd of the way done !
Well actually not exactly our cat.
Marley is a friendly tolerant young tom that comes to visit everyday. He seems to do the rounds of a few homes. He gets lots of loving and fuss and milk and even yoghurt at our place.
He is great with Elliot and Felice. They are so excited when he rings his bell to announce his arrival each morning.
We love it too as it feels like we really do have a cat, but don’t have the responsibility of looking after one !
I rang his owner the other day, and he lives a street away behind us. He must actually like the fuss at our place because there are plenty of homes he could choose from.
So I guess Elliot wants a bit more iPad time than he currently gets. He made his own version featuring the games he likes to play; Angry Birds, Cupcakes, Flight Control and Fruit Ninja.
Spent the weekend at the Growing Families Australia camp. Absolute highlight of the weekend for Elliot – the water slide.
The book from the school library this week is about Policemen and what they do etc. So this week Elliot wants to be a Policeman.
He particularly likes the page that shows all the goodies that a policeman has on his belt.
Me: Elliot, why do you want to be a policeman?
Elliot: you know you get to have all that cool stuff.
Me: like what?
Elliot: you know like that cucumber spray that they have.
We are impressed of late with the amount of sand that arrives home from school in Elliot’s shoes.
Your pour it out (not inside where it is banned because of the wooden floors) and wonder, just how does he walk all day with that much sand sloshing around in the bottom of his shoes.
Must be a kid thing.
Elliot had a small birthday party today to celebrate turning 5.
Julia organised pirate craft and games for the guests. Fish and chips and carrot cake finished off the afternoon.
Is it really 5 whole years since Elliot came into our lives ? Wow time flies.
So great to be able celebrate your birthday Elliot.
